About Us
After a day of driving over from from Grants Pass, Tom and Mimi stop at Face Rock south of Bandon

About us
Mimi and I are retired from the U.S. Coast Guard in 2002. I say
this because she did put up with all those things that came with
military life, like moving every few years, setting up a new home
at every duty station, and dealing with the kids while Dad was away.
Certainly no easy task, but now we no longer have to move...
being retired has some perks.
We both enjoy our seven acre home west of Grants Pass. Right after retirement in 2002, we attended the Master Garden class and became involved in that program. I have gone back to school and recently graduated from Rogue Community College; I'll be finishing up my BS (Business) at Southern Oregon University. And Mimi? After a few years working on the house, went back to work as a dental assistant.
We both love the ocean but find we also love the mountains, so Oregon is the perfect place to call home. If you have any questions about our Oregon Coast trip, feel free to drop us an e-mail (Tom or Mimi).
