Tom Miller's Site

My Portfolio of Websites

Over the past 15 years I have designed/authored many websites, most of them have been passed on to new webmasters.  Many of these now reside on proprietary (Intra-office) systems, so they can't be seen by the general public.  Below are a few examples of the websites that do reside on public web servers.

This website was drafted in 2003 and continues to serve the CG Flotilla in Grants Pass.  It is an informational website for both the public and Auxiliary members.

Commercial: Dutcher Creek Golf Course, Grants Pass, OR Dutcher Creek Golf Website:
This website was drafted in late 2007 as a project for a XHTML class at Rogue Community College.  This golf course did not have a website, so I drafted a proposed site and presented it to the general manager and owner rep.  They accepted my draft website and I manage this website today.

Current URL:  http://www.dutchercreekgolf.com
Commercial: Chart Art Website Chart Art:
This website was drafted in 2007 as a proposal website.  The business owner accepted the site format, but due to extreme course load at college, it was necessary to pass on all the work on this site to another developer.  The site now has been updated, but the site to the left is how it looked in 2007.

My personal website used for various projects TomMiller.org:
This is my personal website (which you are on right now) that I use for various projects.  It is great asset to have a site accessible no matter where you are to dump documents, and link to my current activities.  At the present my wife and I are selling puppies, which is a separate website and is linked on this site.

Current URL: http://thomasmiller.org
My personal site: Miniature Dachshund Puppies Miniature Dachshund Puppies:
This is a quick website I drafted to sell our miniature dachshund puppies in June 2009.  What a great asset to have.  We also posted flyers around Josephine and Jackson Counties and when calls came in, we directed each caller to view the puppies on the website.  One buyer saw our puppy website in California and drove all the way to Grants Pass.  She commented that she was sold due to the quality of the website.

Here are two websites that have been on public web servers, but have been removed for various reasons

Commercial: Your Website Presence Website Your Website Presence:

This is a project website I have been working on when I have time.  It has been posted and removed, and updated again.  It is currently not posted on any web server.  This site will support my local website management services business "Your Website Presence."

Current URL: not posted at this time
Southern Oregon Unversity Research Website Southern Oregon University Research Project Website:

I drafted this website to assist in my business research class.  This was a short-lived project and removed from our web server after the final report was presented.  During the project, research team members had password access to various documents, research data, and reference websites through this site.  This was just one of many tools which made for a very successful research project.

Here is one of my current projects

Esposti Cabinet Esposti Cabinet:

This is one of my current projects for my brother-in-law, Jerry.  He is a cabinet maker in the Santa Rosa CA area.  This site was posted to the Internet April 21, 2010.  To show Jerry craftsmanship, I'm experimenting with JavaScript, XML and Flash on the Kitchens page.  Jerry will have to go back to most of his past clients to obtain higher quality photos to show on his new website. The URL to this site: http://www.esposticabinet.com.
